It has been a busy month for me, some of you might have already known that I’m preparing my move to Japan for a year…
Without my sewing machine (well it’s packed away!) in my creative space, and still lacking the right hook sizes for my crochet projects, I turned my attention to Origami Jewelry.
Irene (from Missy Minzy)’s baby Peanut is due in a week or 2, so I made her this baby bib (she got it in her mail yesterday!)…
I attached a stamp tag of the birthday girl’s name onto the pink side and I think the running stitches around the edge also gave it a nice touch!
Just over one week ago, I’ve never touched a crochet hook, in fact I’ve never had the heart to learn crocheting, I told myself needles & yarns are just not my thing…
Now I’m addicted – whenever I have spare time, I’ll start hooking along…
I’ve always adore amugurumi (編みぐるみ), but never thought of trying as the idea of crochet just seems a bit daunting!
Although a bit slow and painful, I am quite proud of myself to be honest, never thought that I can crochet too!!
There hasn’t been much time for crafting lately, but I’ve managed to finish off this pair of pajama pants I started off 2 weeks ago!
I love Bunny Nuigurumi (sewn plushies)!^0^ This is my first attempt in a handmade soft toy!
